Backpacks 4 Aussie Kids

For the past few weeks, whenever I have a spare moment, I have been making these Crayon Rolls for a great cause called 'Backpacks 4 Aussie Kids'. Their mission is to fill 1000 backpacks with essential items and personal items for kids in care. Check out the B4AK website for more background info.
The backpacks will include items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, undies, nappies, plus things like these crayon rolls I have been making, colouring books and more...

I think this is a fantastic cause and something I can get behind and help out with, I can sew, I have HEAPS of fabric here already from when I owned a fabric store and it also feels great to be able to sew something that will put a smile on a kid's face!

When out shopping for my own kids new undies, I picked up a few extra sets to send to B4AK too...Check out the Undies Pledge too. This is what I'll be sending:

I picked these up on special for only a few dollars per pack...each pair cost less than 50c...wow!!

Anyway, check out the B4AK website or check out the Facebook Fanpage for more details on how to help out this great cause...
